Camera Operator

What initially began as a last-minute fill in to work at two games towards the end of the 23/24 Championship season, became a solidified role for the entirety of the 24/25 Championship season. My role at QPR saw me travel to each home game to capture footage that would be used across the club's various social media accounts.

 

I started my time at QPR as the dugout camera operator where my priority was capturing reactions from the manager and bench during each match. Over time my role evolved into a more dynamic matchday role where I was given access to roam around the stadium during the matches to capture a wider variety of footage.

 

During my time at QPR not only did I learn how to handle new equipment I had not used before like a DJI Ronin SC2 Gimbal Stabiliser, but I also learnt the inner workings of a matchday and all the preparation that goes into making it as smooth as possible for the media team. This insight was priceless to me and I have learnt to take on the advice I was given from members of the media department.
